::thankful – for today! We’re getting some rain, and it was a beautiful weekend. I’m tired today, but in very good way.
Totally and utterly thankful that Cherry Ames graduated from college! I was totally unprepared for the complete rush of pride – I was grinning all weekend. Look! She’s officially a nurse!
Thankful for a weekend spent embraced by friends and family! Thankful that the weekend involved lots of delicious food, and that super duper thankful for the extra time off from chemo. I had an appetite and could taste every bite…I made a heroic attempt to make up for past sixteen weeks of nausea and bland.
Thankful that The Architect was promoted to Head Lifeguard!! I’m so proud of him!
::captured – Picture of me and Princess Pea! (And Mr. Pea reflected in my glasses. He took the picture.)
No pictures of the boys…they spent a great deal of time dodging all the camera lenses this weekend.
::Kill All the Cells! – I feel 10,000% better!! Let’s hear it for the miracle of antibiotics, albuterol and steroids!! I am still dumbfounded that I walked around with pneumonia for more than a month and didn’t even know it.
Last round of chemo starts this Thursday. Two more visits to the Infusion Lab and I’ll be FINISHED!!!

So love your pics Angela…my oldest son just passed his nursing boards too…now to find a job…
Beautiful…you look radiant with your daughter and I am happy to hear you are feeling better. Praying for you always.
Congrats to your daughter and son. Such great kids you have there Angela. You are looking so pretty and glad that you are getting stronger each day. Here’s to a great ending to your chemo and a new start on what’s next. You are an awesome woman Angela.
You take care of yourself and God bless you my friend!
Your daughters are stunning, like mamma. So pneumonia can be a good thing; you got a much needed break in chemo and were able to relax, recoup and eat–eat–eat.
Oh my word – how proud I am for you! Go Cherry Ames. I love it!
Your pictures are awesome, right down to your toes!
Love that you are feeling better and back to work.
Praying for you always.
Hugs & Blessings,
Em
