::praying for – Donna, for grace in the coming months while she grieves her loss; Ramona, for returning health; Susan, for a speedy recovery from surgery; Barb for her mom

::Kill All the Cells! –  Everyone is inquiring about what’s next…here’s what I know.  First order of business is to recover from the chemo.  It takes a toll on the body, my friends. I still feel like I’ve been stranded for six months in a jungle and then had a car wreck immediately after being rescued.  My brain power is coming back fast, as well as my energy.  I’m able to stay awake all day long now, and for the past three days in a row, I’ve managed to take my requisite 10,000 steps!!  Yay!!!

I’ll have a CT Scan and a visit with my Oncologist the first week of September.  Those scans will continue every 6-8 weeks for the next few years.  My nest big milestone is February 2015, fifteen months post surgery.  If I make it there without any recurrence, then my long-term survival statistics go up up up!

  • Homemade Macaroni and Cheese – specifically requested by The Architect for his Birthday Dinner
  • Veggie Pesto Pasta
  • Tuna Salad Sandwiches with Fresh Tomatoes
  • Cobb Salads
  • More Cobb Salads

Really.  We’ve been tossing together salads every night, simply because it’s too danged hot to cook.

::fashionable –    Who me? Fashionable?

::creative – test knitting!  Check out my Ravelry library for a sneak peek!

Keep the Faith.
