Today, I used this accessory. Well, not actually used, because it has no purpose other than making me smile, but I did carry it around with me for a while!

Camera Strap Cover
Materials

Scant 1/2 Yard of 45″ wide fabric, your choice

Matching Thread
Instructions

Cut two strips of fabric, each 5″ wide by the width of the fabric.

Fold under 3/8″ on each long edge; press.

Fold each strip in half, aligning the pressed edges; press again.

Lay the two strips together, with the folded edge of the first one lined up with the pressed edges of the second.

Stitch 1/8″ from each long edge; trim threads.

Unfasten one end of your camera strap and thread through the fabric tube you just made. Scrunch the strap cover evenly over the web part of your strap; fold in the selvaged edges. Refasten camera strap and go!
