December 8 – Beautifully Different – #Reverb10

Think about what makes you different and what you do that lights people up. Reflect on all the things that make you different – you’ll find they’re what make you beautiful.

What do I do that lights people up?    I could go all risque and naughty and limit the definition of “people” to my Dear Husband, but no, you really don’t want those details, now do you?
So how do I light other people up, besides my DH?  I honestly have to say it’s my unending enthusiasm and genuine happiness for other people’s successes.  Really!  I’m the best cheerleader that I know (sans the pleated mini skirt) and I can pull the best out of almost anyone.
Almost?  Yeah.  Teen Son#2 seems to be immune to my powers of persuasion. *sigh*

  1. You should totally get the pleated skirt. It suits you. Although I've never met you in person, so it's my mind's version of you. I have no idea how you would look in one in RL. But if I can clean my house wearing a cape (and I DO) then you should be allowed to wear a cheering skirt. I also approve of pom poms. Because they are fun, and my brothers used to cut the pommy parts off mine and leave me with a stump to cheer with as a little girl. Therefore, in order to live my childhood vicariously through an adult you, you get pom poms.
