Minutes – June 10

Praying for – friends who still need permanent work; the Architect, as he drives his brother to and from school

Grateful for – shade and rain; both girls at home, friends.

Walking and climbing stairs!  My new office is on the fifth floor, and I resolve to never use the elevator.

Life, how beautiful it is.

Picking out potential new floor coverings!  We’ve lived here for 22 years, and are in desperate need of new flooring (we’re still walking on the original carpeting).  I want to ditch carpet completely and put back either wood, slate or both.

  • Dinner with Friends!
  • Mufalettas, Strawberries
  • Spicy Citrus Porkchops, Green Bean Casserole
  • Sweet and Sour Chicken Stirfry
  • Ham and Cheese Sandwiches, Cantalope
  • Caroline Crock Pot Pork
  • Grilled Pizzas, Salad
  • Shrimp Tacos, Black Beans

Cherry Ames took the boys to the zoo today.  Fun Times were had by all!

  1. Congratulations on the confirmed! I love the family picture, just beautiful. My vote, get rid of the carpet. We only have carpet in the bedrooms and the front room where the tv is. Chris wanted at least some carpet in the house. It is so much easier to take care of. Now, it is a bit noisier, but the ease of cleaning is worth it.

  2. What a beautiful family!
Never taking the elevator…to the fifth floor…that will have some great benifits!
Imagine how many stairs you will have climbed in a years time? Wow, that it awesome.
