Oh boy oh boy oh boy. I’m posting something here two days in a row. Must be the spiffy orange flower.

Today has been a day. A very long day. Meetings, water system models, storm drain system models, project planning. I didn’t even stop for lunch today. Now I am tired, sitting here and watching Heroes. Love this show. It’s the only television program I watch other than the news.

I’m full of good intentions. I even scribble down notes for interesting blog topics. They just neer seem to make it from my OneNote page to the blog. *sigh*

So what did I do today? Spent a couple hours downloading and editing Blogger templates to make my blog pretty, cheerful and springlike. My attempt to inspire myself to great things, such as posting regularly, adding pictures and keeping up, may just work.

Really.

Take a pile of whacked off legs from kids’ jeans left over from years of making spring shorts, add a pair or two of paint stained jeans from hubby’s closet, several yards of bright red bandana print fabric and a chunk of batting, whack some more and then stitch it all together, and VOILA! Super cool picnic blanket. It’s very heavy, and sure to last for many, many years. I love it!
