StS Challenge – Day 11 – Weekly Report

Here are the stats.

Weekly Report

WI – 161.2 lbs, up two tenths of a pound. Seriously, two tenths?  Who measures in tenths of a pound?  Oh.  Weight Watchers does.  Next week will be better.

Yes, I’m still not eating all of my daily points.  I’m consuming what feels like my body weight in water every day because it’s so darned hot.  Very Hot.  Hotter than normal hot.

Recap of the weekly goals:

  • Tracking food and exercise consistently and honestly – Done!  Even the chocolate I Necessityate yesterday.  I really, really needed it.
  • Stay within my daily point allowance – Over Done.  This week I’m making more of an effort to eat my full allotment of points every day.
  • Earn a minimum of 50 activity points a week – Done; I earned 59 APs this week
  • Blogging – of course.  It’s my personal crack habit.
  • No quitting?  No brainer.  I haven’t quit yet!
  • Supporting fellow challengers – I prayed daily for our entire group.  Really!  I visited more of the participants’ blogs and left encouragement every where I went.  My Blogger to WordPress migration is as finished as it can be right now (I’m waiting for Blogger to fix what’s broken so I can retrieve some of my data from behind the dashboard and move it over) so I’ll have a few more minutes every day to visit everyone.

  1. Good call on eating all your points — I fall below on mine at times too, and I’ve had to get creative about getting them all eaten. Occasionally I rely on frozen yogurt 😛

One huge reason why I’m sticking with Blogger is that, frustrating as it can be, I think the frustrating of trying to migrate my blog over to another platform would about do me in! Congrats on getting it done 🙂

    1. Yeah but, I’m such a techno-geek…it wasn’t difficult at all to set up something new and migrate everything over. I’m only missing two pages (bio and tutorials) behind the eternally frozen blogger dashboard. As soon as I can rescue them, I will.

  2. Thank you so much for continuing to pray for us! The only sugar treat I allow myself now and then these days is some of the Ghirardeli Intense Dark (it’s ilke 86%). Not a lot of sugar. Not very sweet. Very dark. Antioxidants. A little gives a lot of that choco flavor that we looove so much. I can never give up choco!

    Happy Friday!

  3. Good for you on the motivation. I am thinking of WW myself. Trying to do this alone isn’t working too well. I just have so much going on right now.

  4. Nice on the tracking of the food! Keep that up and you should see better results soon! Question: I know you track with WW points, have you ever tracked a week of calories just to see where you are coming in? I’d be curious so see how that works out and it might be interesting for you too.

  5. I feel your pain. I was down 0.2 lbs…but I was so hoping for a full pound. You’ll see great numbers next week, just don’t give in…keep going strong 🙂

  6. it’s hotter than normal here too—for this early in the season anyway. Heat and I are NOT best friends. BUT, I will say that it’s been too hot to eat…who thought I’d ever appreciate the heat? LOL

Blogging = crack habit! HILARIOUS! I LOVE that! Well put!

  7. The scale is tricky sometimes, look for progress in the way your jeans fit and the bounce in your step. Sometimes that’s the real motivation we need, thanks for sending prayers!

    1. Jeans fit? Oh yeah…I’m now sporting saggy butt grandma jeans, but I have no intention of purchasing new until later this fall! It’s too hot to wear jeans anyway, and I plan to be at goal this fall!

  8. Well, that is not so much. Weight varies-so I bet this week you have more of a loss. Keep up the good work and don;t let your chin be down. Michele

  9. Sorry for the gain, but it really isn’t too much. In fact sometimes that is how much my scale fluctuates. On weeks like that I like to check and see if my measurements have improved because there is usually better news there.
Keep up the good work, congrats on doing well with your goals.
