Friday’s Letters – January 25

friday's letters

Dear Contractors – Please don’t wait until the very last minute to call me and ask for clarifications. Why?  Because I won’t answer.  I have to be fair to all the bidders, and giving you extra info makes fairness less likely.  The bid opening is Wednesday, which means all of you should have looked at those plans and read the contract provisions by now.  Yes, Really.

Dear Caffeine – Hey!  I’m not missing you!

Dear Eczema – You itch and are driving me nuts.  Please go away.

Dear Christine – Thank you Thank you for the amazing new color!  I like being golden blonde much more than being greying-blonde.

  1. Oh my children are having a time with eczema. When we use my sister’s homemade soap and lotion it makes a HUGE difference. She’s going to teach us how to make it within the next couple of weeks. Once we get some made, I would happy to send some your way.

    1. That would be amazing!

I get some awful patches every winter; I have every year since childhood. It’s so weird how it’s always in the same spots. The worst one is on my eyelid.

Soap making? FUN!! I’ve always wanted to try it. It’s on my list of “Things to Do So I Don’t Go Crazy From Boredom” after DirtBike leaves home for college.

      Peace and Good, Angela

  2. Terri makes me homemade soaps that helped with my itchies too. In fact you know what, knock on wood, I don’t have any of them this winter. My skin is dry but not like some years.
Contractors do that. I use to work in a carpet store and I’d do lots of biddings and I always made sure I was one of the first in and I heard of lots calling for extra time or extra info. Not fair, you’re right.
You are doing awesome with no caffine. I’m lucky, I’m not into that but don’t take away my milk, I’ve tried that and it’s impossible.
Take care Angela and have a blessed Sunday. Heading out to do the chores and then done for the day. My ear is attacking so it’s time to put it to bed early too. I’m to old for ear infections and so forth. YUCK!!!
    Blessings my friend!
