Berl is our company chaplain.  (Yes, we have a chaplain.  That is just HOW COOL my employer is!)   Berl is a master gardener, and he invited several of us over last Thursday to tour his garden.  The lushness was astonishing, especially considering that we have had 23 consecutive days of 100+ degree temperatures!

StS Challenge – Day 45 – Good Day, Sunshine!

Guess What?  It’s still hot here in North Texas!  Day twenty something of brain searing sunshine.  I thought I’d mix it up a bit and haul myself into the office early today to get in a ride before hitting the stack of to-do’s on my desk.

I stopped and snapped this on the way back to the office.  Cell phone resolution is sketchy, but there are little ducks swimming in the fountain.  That’s a good way to start the day! That and a 10 mile ride at 86 degrees!!  It felt like riding in a walk in cooler, Chickies!
