Learning to Run – Week Four, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Runs – Our First Release

Slacking a bit on posting?  You Betcha.  It’s been a crazy week.  Second run happened Thursday, third run happened on Friday and fourth run was yesterday morning.  Yesterday I ran over to a construction site on the other side of my development where one of my projects is being constructed.  It looks great, exactly what I designed.  The contractor is doing a good job.  The concrete is finished well, and saw joints have already cracked through to the bottom of the pavement section.  Yes.

Here’s my focus for today –

We have a house full of family and plenty of food ready for later this afternoon.  Well, there will be plenty once I make some potato salad.   Husband Dear is outside cleaning the patio and putting ice in coolers.
Today we release our first born into the wild, ready for college and for whatever lies beyond.

  1. I can't imagine one of my babies leaving for college yet! Then again, I have friends who've done that — my first wasn't born until I was nearly 30, and he's just 11 now :)Congrats both on the construction and the progression!

  2. I can't imagine that. I had a big enough freaking out in April when my oldest 'baby' hit her teens. Your daughter is gorgeous and such an adventure ahead of her!
